Blessed with ideal apple growing conditions, and given the islands cider heritage, we had been wanting to release a cider for some years. However, getting enough apples was always a problem, and we had to be patient to wait for new orchards to come into production. Now we crush over 100 Tonnes of apples every year - enough for our Jersey Apple Brandy and a couple of ciders!
Traditional Cider 6.5%abv
Made from traditional Jersey cider apple varieties. Including Harry Masters Jersey Rouget. Douce damme. Batch fermented and blended to produce a traditional still cider. The slow ferment provides depth of flavour with good balance between acidity and mouthfeel. A small amount of natural residual carbon dioxide gives a slight lift. Best served lightly chilled.
Available in half litre bottles. Click here for details on how to order.
Branchage Premium Table Cider 8%abv
Made exclusively from estate apples selectively harvested at optimum ripeness. Including Browns, Michelin, Dabinett, Yarlington mill.
Cool fermentation followed careful pressing and settling to retain lifted cider aromas.
Winemaking techniques were employed to provide finesse and balance on the palate with apple spice and flower blossom on the nose.
This is also apparent in the presentation of the product. The higher alcohol gives the cider weight allowing it to be an excellent match with food.
